Laura and the kids came to town and I was so excited to see them. Laura and I have been friends for over 15 years. We have a hard time keeping in touch sometimes with careers, kids...life, but when we talk and see each other it's like a day has never passed since that first day in August of 1995! I love you, Laura and I am so lucky to have such an amazing person in my life. You are a fabulous Mom, but that doesn't surprise me considering your role model! xoxo

The boys and I went on vacation with The Handley Family this year. We headed to PCB for the first time the week of July 10 and had such a great time! It was really nice to relax and spend some time at the beach. We also met up with some other friends while we were there! Thanks to the Handley's for such a fun and fantastic beach vacation!

What is the best way to get free dinner on a Friday night? Well, dress up like a cow, of course! Chick-Fil-A has Cow Appreciation Day every year. They give you free dinner if you dress like a cow! I had forgotten all about it but it's easy to get a reminder when your neighbor works for Corporate! We all had a great time and had a yummy dinner!

I was made to have boys! Although I have to tell you that, Chloe, my next door neighbor melts my heart. She is about the sweetest thing ever. She decided that I needed make-up and how can you say no to this sweet 3 year old?
Thank you for making me beautiful, Chloe! You ALMOST make me think I could have handled a girl...then I remember me at age 15! :)

My car was BEYOND dirty...inside and out! I don't really enjoy washing my car, I do not find it therapeutic by any means! So, what is the best thing to do? Pay your 5 year old $5 to do it for you!!! :)

The boys headed to Delaware on vacation this year with their Dad. I guess they rented a beach house with the entire Welch Family! The boys said they had a great week with Neil, their Memere and Grandpa and all their Aunts, Uncles and baby Cousins! As you can probably see from this picture that was sent to me, you can see why!

A quick note from Mom...
Dear Family and Friends~I want to let you all know we are still here but it has been one heck of a summer. The boys and I are having a great time and they only have 2 weeks left before they go back to school! Where did the time go?!?! I was lucky enough to have close to 3 weeks off this summer and we even took our first trip to the Gulf. The downside was that we didn't make it to Maine this summer. This is the first time in the decade, yes decade I have lived south of the MD line that I have not been home in July! Please know we miss you all like crazy and I will be posting new entries over the next few days of our summer adventures! I hope everyone is as happy and healthy as the boys and I are! Love to you all!
